A winter storm swept through central Maryland Jan. 3, leaving 3 to 7 inches of snow behind. Schools canceled classes on Monday in several districts, and again on Tuesday as crews tried to clean up roads.
The state's network of COVID-19 vaccination clinics were also closed Monday, and many opened late on Tuesday.
