Woman Charged In Husband's Murder In Johns Hopkins Hospital
The couple was waiting for a procedure to be completed on their son when one allegedly stabbed the other.

BALTIMORE, MD — A woman has been charged with murder after her husband was stabbed to death at Johns Hopkins Hospital over the weekend, according to police.
Anita Nicole Jones, 30, is charged with first-degree murder.
The charge stemmed from the death of Jones's husband, 33-year-old Christopher Yancey Sr.

At 2:13 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, authorities responded to Johns Hopkins Hospital in the 1800 block of Orleans Street for a report of a suicide.

Police Jones and Yancey had been arguing in a hospital room while they waited for a procedure to be completed on their son, when she went out and told hospital staff Yancey cut himself.
Despite life-saving efforts of medical personnel, Yancey succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
Before police arrived, authorities said Jones left the hospital.
No weapons were found in the hospital room, and Yancey's upper body lacerations were not consistent with suicide, police reported.
Jones was arrested on a warrant for first-degree murder on Saturday, Oct. 14, according to police, who said she taken to central booking for processing.
