1 Injured In Edgewood Bailout: Joppa-Magnolia VFC

Someone allegedly jumped out of a vehicle on US 40 Thursday, officials said.

EDGEWOOD, MD — One person was seriously injured Thursday morning after an incident involving a bailout on US 40 in Edgewood, according to officials.

Before 7:30 a.m., the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company said its crew was on US 40 at Woodbridge Center Way tending to someone who had jumped from a vehicle while it was still moving.

The fire company took one person by ambulance to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
