Maryland's winning ticket was purchased at Wawa, located at 709 Belair Rd. The retailer earns a $2,500 bonus for selling the ticket.

This is the second Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million that has been sold in Maryland during the current jackpot roll, which started in September. That other $1 million prize was claimed by an Anne Arundel County resident on a ticket he purchased in October in Brooklyn Park.
