$100K In Lottery Prizes Unclaimed Around Bel Air

A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the Wegmans in Abingdon, while a Bel Air store also sold a $50,000 lottery ticket, officials said.

BEL AIR, MD — Two tickets worth $50,000 apiece were sold in the Bel Air area this week, and both have yet to be claimed, according to the Maryland Lottery.

Moores Mill Convenience Store in the 1300 block of East Churchville Road sold a ticket for the Lucky Numbers game that was a winner, lottery officials said.

The ticket was sold Saturday, Aug. 21, according to authorities.

That was not the only big winner.

A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold Friday, Aug. 20, at the Wegmans in Abingdon.

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing Saturday, Aug. 21, were 16, 28, 36, 39 and 59 with the Powerball of 4.

Lottery winners whose prizes are $50,000 can claim them by mail, by appointment in person or by dropping off a completed claim form and the winning ticket in the dropbox at Maryland Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
