$1200 Charged In Bel Air After Theft From Car In Abingdon: Police
Police said within 30 minutes of a theft from a vehicle at Planet Fitness, more than $1,000 was racked up on credit cards that were inside.

BEL AIR, MD — Police have asked for help identifying someone who may be linked to a theft at the Planet Fitness in Abingdon.
According to authorities, a purse and other items were stolen from a vehicle outside the gym in the 3400 block of Emmorton Road around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16.
Less than half an hour after the theft from the Planet Fitness parking lot, officials said the credit cards that had been in the purse were used about 5 miles away.

Police said someone used the stolen credit cards to buy approximately $1,200 in gift cards from Target at 580 Marketplace Drive in Bel Air at 6:58 p.m. on Jan. 16.
