2 Juveniles Arrested In Joppa With Stolen Van: Police
Maryland State Police said the girls were driving a vehicle in Joppa stolen from Baltimore and were wearing monitoring devices.

JOPPA, MD — Two girls who were wearing monitoring anklets were taken into custody Monday afternoon at a Joppa gas station related to thefts, according to Maryland State Police. A plainclothes trooper noticed the juveniles park at Wawa on MD 152 near Interstate 95, walk toward a liquor store, stop and walk back to their vehicle before driving 0.2 mile away to another store, officials reported.
At 2:54 p.m. on Monday, police said the trooper requested a registration check from the Bel Air barrack on the blue Dodge van they drove into the parking lot; it had been stolen from Baltimore City earlier in the day, according to officials.
The officer dispatched a description of the girls, who drove to the corner of Mountain Road and Philadelphia Road and walked into the Carroll Fuel station, where other troopers responded and detained them.
