10 Places To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day 2018 In Bel Air
Irish breakfast, green beer and live music are on tap at these Bel Air businesses for St. Paddy's Day.

BEL AIR, MD — St. Patrick's Day is on a Saturday this year, and the festivities continue in many cases through the weekend. Grab your green and check out these happenings in and around Bel Air.

510 Johnny's, 510 Marketplace Dr., Bel Air
The restaurant will open at 8 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day with a grand brunch buffet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $9 for kids (under 12 years) and $18 for adults. Specials include $10 bottomless mimosas and $15 bottomless Blood Marys.

Alecraft Brewery, 319 S. Main St., Bel Air
From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the taproom will feature 8 small-batch, hand-crafted ales including an Irish Stout, Royal Roast Coffee Stout and Irish Red to celebrate the day. "Our beer won't be green, but will be great!" organizers say.
Bushmill Tavern, 4017 Philadelphia Rd., Abingdon
Bushmill is offering $2 green gelatin shots on Friday, March 16. All weekend $4 Guinness Blondes and Smithwicks will be on tap. The restaurant is planning to set up a tent on the patio and host a Sunday brunch.

Della Rose's Local Tavern, 1204 Agora Dr., Bel Air
Doors open at 10 a.m. on Saturday for Irish brunch with fare such as corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash and shepherds pie. There will be live entertainment and food specials all day. Drink specials include $3 green Jello, $5 Irish crush, $5 Irish car bombs, $5 pickle backs, $5 Independent Irish Red and $5 Bud Light in green bottles (16 oz), among others. There will also be a "Hospitality Brunch" on Monday, March 19, for those who have had to work all weekend, with all St. Patrick's Day specials honored.
Hickory Lodge, 2119 Conowingo Rd., Bel Air
Live music is on tap Saturday plus there will be drink specials from $3 to $5, including $4 green tea shots and $5 Irish crushes. Saturday is WPOC 93.1 FM's St. Jude benefit concert featuring Mark Bray at noon, country singer Linday Ell at 5 p.m., Boot N Rally at 7 p.m. and a live DJ at 10 p.m. The heated tent over the patio and open deck bar will be open Saturday and Sunday. People must be 21 to get in. The cover on Friday is $5 and on Saturday it's $10 all day, with no cover on Sunday.
Independent Brewing Company, 418 N. Main St., Bel Air
From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the taproom will be open for a "Shamrocked" St. Patrick's Day celebration. A roving bagpiper will be playing throughout the day, courtesy of Geoff Douglass the Bagpiper. Live music comes from Speaking in Circles from 3-6 p.m. The Dizzy Cow Pizzeria food truck will be on site serving delicious pizza.
Looney's Pub, 312 S. Main St., Bel Air
The celebration spans three days at Looney's. The pub opens at 10 a.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. on Saturday, plus there's a hungover brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Billed as the largest St. Patrick's Day celebration on the East Coast, Looney's has live music planned throughout the weekend for the affair. On Friday, 98 Rock will be broadcasting live from Looney's from 3 to 7 p.m. On Saturday, early birds will get the best drink specials, with $2 Jameson, Guinness, Irish coffees and bloody Marys from 8 to 9 a.m.
MaGerk's, 120 S. Bond St., Bel Air
The new and improved patio bar opens at 9 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day. Specials include $4 Independent Irish Red, $4 Flying Dog Brewery Lucky SOB and $4 Guinness Blonde cans all day with $5 cover. Live music is slated for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Main Street Tower, 29 S. Main St., Bel Air
The Tower opens at 8 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day, with an Irish breakfast and lunch buffet all day. Green beer will be on tap while supplies last. Live music is also part of the lineup, with 20 bands performing.
Sean Bolan's, 12 S. Main St., Bel Air
A St. Patrick's Day breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday with $5 Irish coffees, Jameson, Caskmates shots and Powers lemon drops shots. Yuengling drafts will be $2 from 8 to 11 a.m. and $4 from 11 a.m. to close.
