Abingdon Teen Killed in Joppa Crash, Sheriff Says

One driver involved in a two-vehicle crash Friday night on Old Joppa Road has died, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported Saturday morning.
Justin Daniel Robinson, 19, of Abingdon, was driving a 2009 Toyota Camry south on Old Joppa Road near Janice Court when his vehicle crossed the center line and went into the path of a box truck, the sheriff’s office reported.

After the crash, which occurred at 5:53 p.m., Robinson was taken by medevac to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he later died, according to the report.
His two passengers—a 19-year-old man and 15-year-old girl—were taken by ambulance to a local trauma center, where the man was released and the girl remained in stable condition Saturday morning, the report said.

The box truck driver was assessed and released at the scene, according to the report.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported Saturday morning.
