Abingdon Woman Killed in Connecticut Crash: Report
The 61-year-old was a passenger in an eight-vehicle collision.

An Abingdon woman was killed in an eight-vehicle crash in Connecticut that shut down Interstate 95 for eight hours Saturday, according to The Lymes Patch.
Hilda Thomas, 61, of Abingdon, was pronounced deceased following the collision that involved 14 people, six passenger vehicles and two tractor-trailers.
A 38-year-old woman from Alabama also died.

The two women were in the same vehicle, which a New Jersey woman was driving, according to WBAL.
The crash occurred on I-95 in Old Lyme, Conn., at 5:40 a.m. Saturday.
