HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Meet one of the adorable adoptables available from The Humane Society of Harford County.
Two-year-old Mitski is described as a sweet and social female bunny who would be the perfect fit for a first-time rabbit owner. She's fine being handled and loves to have space to hop around and explore. Mitski adores lettuce and will wait by her cage door for treats and cuddles.
"A lot of people don't realize how much personality is packed into those little rabbit bodies. If you take the time to get to know a rabbit, you'll discover a smart and sassy creature whose ways of communicating with you may be as subtle as a nose bump on your leg ("Hello there") or an impatient thump of the hind foot, which can mean anything from 'Mom! There's something scary outside!' to 'Hey! Pay attention to me!,'" Erin Long, marketing and development manager for The Humane Society of Harford County, told Patch.
