The Bethesdan Hotel in downtown Bethesda is hosting a "You Sleigh Me: A Grinch Experience Holiday Pop-Up Bar" through the holiday season. The hotel, at 8120 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, is hosting the holiday pop-up bar through Dec. 31. The public can reserve a spot online.
Mojomala Book And Record Store Opens In New Silver Spring Location
Mojomala Books, Records & Cool Stuff has reopened in a new location at new location at 8401 Colesville Road. Mojomala plans to host in-store discussions and small performances at the new location, in addition to selling record albums, clothing and books.
GameOn bar + arcade To Open Third Location In Howard County
An arcade bar for grown-ups called GameOn bar + arcade will open in mid-January in Howard County. Families can join in the fun at the retro gaming place before 8 p.m. Every genre of arcade games will be available at GameOn bar+arcade, from Pac-Man to Skee-Ball. There will bean extensive selection of craft cocktails and local beers for adults. GameOn bar+arcade will serve pizzas, wings and other bar-type food.
Perfume World To Open New Store At Westfield Montgomery Mall: Report
Perfume World is opening a new store at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Perfume World offers namebrand fragrances such as Giorgio Armani, YSL, Versace, Burberry, Gucci, D&G, Jimmy Choo, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Mont Blanc, Diesel, Dsquared2 and Mercedes Benz.
After nearing permanent closure, a Potomac McDonald's eatery has been saved thanks to a petition on change.org that gathered at least 2,600 signatures.
