Terrain Café At Bethesda Row Closes, Retail Store To Remain Open

BETHESDA, MD — Terrain Café at Bethesda Row, a restaurant that offered seasonally changing brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, has permanently closed.

The restaurant, located at 7728 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda, said in a message on its website that "it is with great sadness that we permanently close the doors to Terrain Cafe."

"Thank you to our customers, neighbors, and employees for the years of support," the company said.

The Terrain retail store in Bethesda, at 4801 Bethesda Avenue, will remain open.

"It's sad to see the restaurant go at that corner, where the new plaza outside Terrain and Anthropologie is just being completed," Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported Tuesday.

The Bethesda store is Terrain’s only location in Maryland.
