Andrew Michael Pizanis, 20, of Abingdon
Obituary and service information from McComas Funeral Home.

Andrew Michael Pizanis, 20, of Abingdon, was taken from us July 20, 2017. Born in Rosedale, he was the beautiful son of Michael Charles and Brenda Jean (Asbury) Pizanis of Abingdon. He was kind and considerate, loved to cook, enjoyed playing sports and skateboarding. He even carried his cat Mittenz on his shoulder while riding his skateboard. He was comical and loved to laugh - - he loved to make people laugh. He could find humor in the worst scenario and lighten the mood of an entire room. He lived "in the moment" and was such a character. The briefest encounter with Andrew would leave you smiling. He had a knack for touching your heart and leaving an impression on everyone he encountered. You couldn't help but love him. He was a wonderful person and adored by his family.
In addition to his shattered parents, Andrew loved his family dearly and is survived by his loving sister, Angela Briel Pizanis; paternal grandparents, Eleanor and John Pizanis; maternal grandparents, Sharon and the late Charlie Asbury; paternal uncle, Nicholas (Cindy) Pizanis; maternal aunts, Linda (the late Joe) Prevo and Trish (Jimi) Cammarata; maternal uncles, Randy Asbury and Will (Dee) Pennington; paternal cousins, Dimitris and Amylia Pizanis; maternal cousins, Jennifer Fogle, her son Jordan Szimanski, Jon Pennington, Constance Cammarata, Zack Pennington; many, many great aunts, uncles, second cousins and far too many friends to list.
He was preceded in death by second cousin, Emily Fogle.
