ABERDEEN, MD — Testing at Aberdeen Proving Ground may be heard outside the military installation Friday, officials say. The activities will not be hazardous to the community, according to a statement from officials at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG).

This testing is essential to the mission of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command at the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center, officials said.

To minimize the impact on the community, APG leaders will monitor weather and take noise readings throughout the day. The testing will take place during the daytime hours.
