Bel Air Armory Hosting Holiday Gift Sale
This is the sixth annual Authors and Artists event in Bel Air. Live music and free wrapping will be provided.

From Harford Co.:More than 40 Harford County authors and artists will fill the Bel Air Armory for a one-stop holiday shopping destination on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This now-traditional event celebrates the season as well as the wide range of talented authors and artists who live and work throughout Harford County.
The Sixth Annual Authors & Artists Holiday Gift Sale also includes live holiday performances throughout the day. On the way out the door, visitors can stop by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance table, where volunteers will wrap purchases for free.
Shoppers on the hunt for inspired gifts will discover paintings, ceramics, pottery, jewelry, photography, glass ornaments, prints, note cards, artisan gourds and hand-sewn fabrics. Harford’s participating authors cover most fiction and non-fiction genres including historical novels, suspense, genealogy, nature, fine photo journals, children’s books as well as local poetry.

Scheduled performers include:
- 10:00 a.m. Theatre Works
- 11:00 a.m. Bel Air High School Jazz Band and Chorus
- 12:00 p.m. Bel Air Community Chorus
- 1:30 p.m. John Sobus, Self Expression
Returning from last year, artists from the ARC Northern Chesapeake Region will participate as vendors. They will offer a wide selection of paintings, prints and holiday cards. Before or after the show, stop by the new Armory Marketplace, just behind the Armory, to visit the Harford Artists Gallery Holiday Open House.
Parking in downtown Bel Air is free on weekends.

Event sponsors are the Town of Bel Air, the Maryland State Arts Council through the Harford County Cultural Arts Board, the Town of Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission and the Bel Air Downtown Alliance. The event is supported by the Bel Air Arts and Entertainment District.
