Bel Air-Based Band Makes Viral Towson Video
Henry Basta and Jay Karolenko graduated from the John Carroll School.
graduates Henry Basta and (class of 2007) Jay Karolenko (2008) must have been bored. That, or they really love Towson University.
As part of a four-month project, Basta and Karolenko, who comprise the band "Sharpened Crayons," made a three-minute promotional video for Towson.
The Bel Air residents' video got more than 3,000 hits on YouTube in the first 24 hours of being posted and has since surpassed 8,000 views.

Basta is a Mass Communication major who earned an associate's degree from in 2009 while Karolenko is a Music Education Major.
The pair worked with the school's Associate Director of Undergraduate Marketing Joe Schuberth to create the video. Class of 2007 Fallston graduate and fellow Towson student Chad Harrell was the video's cinematographer.
