Bel Air Business Of The Year For 2019 Is Vagabond Sandwich Co.

BEL AIR, MD — Vagabond Sandwich Company is the 2019 Bel Air Business of the Year.

Vagabond owner Ben Meyer received the recognition Thursday night during a ceremony at the Liriodendron, where the Bel Air Board of Town Commissioners presented the award.

The town of Bel Air solicited nominations from the public over the summer to identify a business that contributes to the overall economy and culture of Bel Air, makes significant contributions to town activities and prioritizes giving back.

Past Bel Air Business of the Year winners include Klein's ShopRite in 2018, Independent Brewing Company in 2017 and Sunny Day Café in 2016.

Vagabond has supported a variety of causes, from hosting a fundraiser dinner for WeCancerve, which provides support for families with sick children, to sponsoring Holly's Hope, a 5K and 1-mile walk to benefit SARC and bring awareness to services available for those suffering from domestic violence.

Vagabond Sandwich Company is at 111 Thomas Street in Bel Air.
