Bel Air Christmas Parade 2017 To Roll Down Main Street
The parade and tree lighting in Bel Air are scheduled for Dec. 3.
BEL AIR, MD — The Bel Air Christmas Parade is taking place this weekend. A concert, parade, bonfire and tree lighting are planned as part of the festivities.
Stilt-walkers, horses, acrobats, marching bands, costumed characters, musical groups, dancers, Santa and Mrs. Claus and others are slated to parade down Main Street in Bel Air.
In addition to the parade, people can enjoy a concert, bonfire and visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Here is the schedule, according to organizers:

- 2:30 p.m. — Concert on Main Street in front of Circuit Court
- 3:30 p.m. — Parade down Main Street to Lee Street to Shamrock Park
- 4 p.m. — Community bonfire and sing-along in Shamrock Park with free cookies and hot cocoa
- 4:45 p.m. — Tree lighting at Bel Air Town Hall
The events will be held weather-permitting; if there is inclement weather, it will be canceled and will not be rescheduled.
