Bel Air Field Hockey Bound for State Championship

The Bel Air field hockey team played their way to the state championship Monday night.

Rain was no match for the Bel Air Bobcats, who blanked the Hurricanes, 3-0, in the Maryland Public Secondary School Athletic Association state semifinals at Paint Branch High School. Read The Aegis recap for more details.

Next up, the Bobcats will take on the Westminster Owls at the state finals.

Last year, the two teams met in the state semifinals, with the Owls continuing on to win the state championship against Linganore.

Now, the Bobcats are looking for payback.

Watch them at the 2015 state field hockey finals at Washington College, 300 Washington Avenue, in Chestertown. The Bel Air Bobcats will face off against rivals Westminster Owls at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14.
