Bel Air Firefighters Handle Trash Compactor Blaze at Festival
Crews put out a fire located behind a store in the Festival at Bel Air shopping center, official said.
Firefighters responded to the Festival at Bel Air Wednesday afternoon for an appliance fire, according to a report from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.
Crews were called at 3:43 p.m. to the shopping center at 5 Bel Air South Parkway, said Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company’s Rich Gardiner.
According to Gardiner, first responders found a trash compactor ablaze behind the Marshall’s.

Seven months ago, crews responded to the Festival after a grease fire erupted inside Buffalo Wild Wings. The Dec. 28 blaze caused $50,000 in damage, according to the fire marshal.
