Bel Air Lotto Winner Strikes 3 Times

A salesman from Bel Air has won $50,000 twice in the past three months playing the same scratch-off game, Maryland Lottery officials say.

BEL AIR, MD — A Bel Air man has won the lottery three times in the past three months, according to the Maryland Lottery. The latest win was for $50,000.

The 49-year-old had stopped at the Fallston BP at 1515 Belair Road and said he felt lucky, so he bought a scratch-off to play the $2,000,000 Fortune game, Maryland Lottery officials reported.

The man, who works in sales, had reason to feel lucky; according to the Maryland Lottery, he had won $50,000 in the same game in November and claimed another $10,000 lottery prize on another game.

“What are the odds of winning again?” said the salesman, who is also a father of three.

The Bel Air man told lottery officials that he plans to use his $50,000 prize toward savings and work on his house.
