SLOATSBURG, NY — A Bel Air man was involved in a serious crash in New York Monday morning, according to police. He had been asleep in the back of his parked tractor-trailer when a car slammed into the back of it in Rockland County, New York, officials said.

David M. Bucci, 43, of Bel Air, was not injured in the collision, according to New York State Police. Officials said he was in the sleeping berth of the tractor-trailer when a Toyota Avalon went off the side of Interstate 87 and rammed into the truck around 7:30 a.m.
