Bel Air Musician Lost to Heroin to Be Memorialized at Tribute Concert
Concert honoring the 21-year-old Bel Air man who died from an overdose will be held at the Baltimore Soundstage on Tuesday, Dec. 6.

BEL AIR, MD — A tribute concert will be held Tuesday night to memorialize one of Bel Air's young people lost to heroin. Jordan Roche died Sept. 25, 2015.
The 21-year-old was known for his music, including as a DJ and producer, so it is fitting that a concert will be held Tuesday night in his honor at the Baltimore Soundstage.
Music was Jordan Roche's thing, his mother told WBAL, just as for some kids athletics is.

After starting to use marijuana to ease social anxiety as a sophomore, he continued exploring drugs while attending raves and by age 19 was snorting heroin, according to The Washington Post.
With encouragement from his family, Roche sought inpatient treatment for addiction and returned to Bel Air with nine months of sobriety in 2015; but shortly thereafter, he was found deceased in a relative's house from an overdose, the newspaper reported.

"Nobody is immune," his mother, Rosemary Roche, said in an interview with the Post. "We want people to know that this can happen to anyone."
Proceeds from Tuesday's fundraiser will go to the Jordan Roche Fund, which Rosemary Roche told WBAL helps those struggling with addiction.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 8 p.m. at the Jordan "Barron" Roche Memorial Show on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Baltimore Soundstage, 124 Market Place, Baltimore, MD 21202. While tickets are free, attendees can give a $5 donation at the door.
