Bel Air Police Net 363 Citations, Warnings on Holiday Patrols
The Bel Air Police Department reports impaired driving took backseat to other violations on Thanksgiving.

While officers in Bel Air issued hundreds of citations over the Thanksgiving holiday, only one person was charged with DUI during special patrols targeting impaired drivers, Bel Air Police said in a statement.
Officials thanked their law enforcement, business, media and community partners for raising awareness, making a point to give kudos to holiday revelers who helped keep the streets safe.
“Many were involved in transporting others who felt that they had consumed in excess of the legal limits,” police said in a statement.
