Bel Air Police Identify Home Invasion Suspects

Man and woman are suspected in other home invasions in the region, according to police.

The Bel Air Police Department has identified the suspects in a recent home invasion in which thousands of dollars of jewelry was stolen, police said Tuesday.

William Jamal Wright, 34, of Center Deen Avenue in Aberdeen, and Jamie Lynn Delair, 25, of the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale, are charged with armed robbery, false imprisonment, theft and first-degree assault, according to police.

The charges stem from a Sept. 10 home invasion in the 400 block of Linwood Avenue, police reported.

Police said that Wright held two residents and their caregiver at gunpoint, demanding cash and jewelry. The suspects made off with $40,000, according to police, who said no one was injured.

Police allege the duo was involved in other similar home invasions, targeting victims with large amounts of jewelry, medication and cash.

Wright is at large and is wanted in connection with similar home invasion robberies in Baltimore County, police reported.

A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information.

Calls are not recorded, and tipsters may remain anonymous.
