Bel Air Road Crash Sends 2 to Hospital: Fire Company

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded to a collision near Tollgate Road Thursday afternoon.

BEL AIR, MD — Two people were hospitalized due to a crash on Bel Air Road Thursday afternoon, the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company reported. The collision in the 700 block of Bel Air Road occurred around 1:30 p.m. just south of Tollgate Road, according to Rich Gardiner of the fire company.

The two individuals who were taken to a local hospital sustained injuries that Gardiner said were not believed to be life-threatening. Public safety officials urged individuals to be extra aware on the roads as more people were traveling due to the holidays.

"Traffic is very bad out today," Gardiner said Thursday afternoon. "Use caution."
