Bel Air Woman Charged In Boyfriend's Murder: Police

A Bel Air woman was charged with murder in a domestic case out of Havre de Grace, police said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD - A Bel Air woman has been charged with murder in the stabbing of her boyfriend, who died last month in Havre de Grace, according to police.

Aubri Grace Pluhar, 23, of the 800 block of Lancaster Drive in Bel Air, was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment. She was being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center Thursday, according to court records.

Pluhar's charges stemmed from a domestic incident that resulted in the death of 20-year-old Andrew Pizanis, police said.

Authorities reported that they found Pizanis bleeding and vomiting when they were called to the 800 block of Lafayette Street in Havre de Grace for a suspicious circumstance after 3 a.m. on July 20.

Pizanis had been stabbed by Pluhar, who was his girlfriend, according to Corporal Daniel Petz of the Havre de Grace Police Department.

Arriving officers saw "large amounts of blood" and provided first aid before Pizanis was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital, where officials said he was pronounced deceased.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Pizanis died by homicide.

On Wednesday, Aug. 23, the Havre de Grace detectives who had been investigating the case obtained an arrest warrant for Pluhar, at which point she turned herself in without incident, police said.
