May 1, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America unveils its Metal-Art logo "Derby Day - 152nd", Run for the Roses
Tomorrow May 2nd will be the 152nd Running of the Kentucky Derby, the 1st Leg of the Triple Crown. Last-week on April 21st it was announced that Churchill Downs Inc. (CDI) made the acquisition to obtain the Intellectual Property (IP) for the rights to the Preakness Stakes and the Black Eyed Susan Stakes for 85 million dollars. The deal was a surprise to many, but a bold business move by Churchill Downs Inc.
During last-years promotion of the 150th Preakness, The "Charm'tastic Mile" was heavily involved in the branding/marketing of the Milestone Anniversary horse race to visiting tourists downtown and locals who were here to see the Iconic race. This year's Preakness '26 will be held at Laurel Park due to the new construction at Pimlico Race Course.
The "Charm'tastic Mile" this past April 25th celebrated its 10th Anniversary (2016-26) of being introduced to Charm City. Their 10th Anniversary Metal-Art logo was inspired by the October '25 release of the Baltimore-Edition MONOPOLY Game. The "Charm'tastic Mile" is the only USPTO www.uspto.gov (R) registered trademark street in the State of Maryland.
The evolution of the 10th Anniversary logo has become a "Brand Slam" for the Iconic 1.3 mile-stretch of Dwtn-B'more. The Orioles-themed colorway version of the logo is gaining in popularity around the city. The "Derby Day - 152nd", Run for the Roses for the Kentucky Derby shows the versatility of the Metal-Art logo and the ever-growing evolution for the Famous Streets & Sports Culture In America.
