The 2026 4th of July Celebration in Bel Air will kick off with a flag-raising ceremony at 6:45 a.m. at Bel Air Town Hall on Hickory Avenue, 8:30 a.m. at Rockfield Park, 9:30 a.m. at Shamrock Park and 10:45 a.m. at Bel Air Elementary School.
A pancake breakfast will be held from 7 to 11:30 a.m. at Bel Air High School.
Horseshoe pitching will take place at Rockfield Park from 9 a.m. to noon.
There will be family events, contests and more from 9 a.m. to noon at Shamrock Park. The Bel Air Community Band will perform a concert at noon.
From 9 a.m. to noon, organizers will present&nbsp;"The American Revolution Experience" at the Hays House, which examines how people in the 13 colonies reacted to the Revolution. Children's activities&nbsp;also&nbsp;will be held outside on the lawn. Then at the Harford History Center (143 N. Main Street, from 4 to 5:30 pm), winning artwork interpreting phrases from the Declaration of Independence will be on display.
A bicycle rodeo will take place at 11 a.m. at the Bel Air Elementary School and Lee Street.
The Bel Air July 4th parade will start at 6 p.m. starting at Idlewild and South Main, then proceed toward the intersection of East Gordon Street and North Main Street.
Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m. They will launch from Rockfield Park with viewing areas all around Bel Air, organizers say.

America 250: Declaration of Independence Public Art Display The History Center, 143 N. Main St., Bel Air, July 4, 2 pm – 4:30 pm, July 6– 8, 10 am - 4 pm “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, … This July, the Declaration of Independence turns 250 years old. In commemoration of this historic anniversary, the Historical Society of Harford County (HSHC) is showcasing a public art exhibition featuring prize-winning works by selected artists at the Harford History Center, 143 N. Main Street, in Bel Air. The Historical Society reproduced the artwork designed by local artists on seven 5ft x 9ft horizontal printed vinyl panels. It will be showcased at a four-day exhibit at the History Center, then moved to a long-term display along the History Center's fence line on East Gordon St. Artists submitted printable reproductions of original work that interpreted one of seven curated phrases from the Declaration

The Havre de Grace 4th of July Celebration will kick off with a parade at 2 p.m. along Union Avenue. The Maryland Military Band will perform an inspiring, patriotic concert at Concord Point Park July 5. Music begins at 7:30 p.m.&nbsp;
Fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m. (or once it’s dark) directly off this point at the Susquehanna River. The best views are from Hutchins and Concord Point parks, organizers said.
