Calling all creative people! Meet Grub Street
Grub Street is a student-published literary magazine at Towson University. ANYONE CAN SUBMIT WRITING OR ART!

Calling all writers and artists! Grub Street is now open for submissions. The literary journal accepts works of short fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and visual art. Grub Street is the proud winner of several design and content awards, including the highest possible honors from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA).
Submissions for the 2018 publication will close January 28th.
Grub Street is the University’s student-produced literary and arts magazine, which is funded by Towson’s Provost Office and the College of Liberal Arts. Each year, the journal seeks out the most promising literary and visual art to publish. Grub Street is a student organization that organizes and promotes literary events around campus and surrounding areas. Members of the team encourage submissions to the magazine. In class, these students review submissions for publication, copy edit, and proofread final selections.
All submissions are read blind and accepted through their Submittable page. ANYONE CAN SUBMIT TO Grub Street. Please limit submissions to five pieces of poetry, two pieces of prose, and/or five pieces of visual art.
Should your work be published, you will receive a copy of the finished journal. The team plans to print approximately 3000 copies in May 2018, all to be distributed for free. Copies will also be handed out on the university campus and at the annual Launch Party, currently dated for May 8th, and mailed to off-campus contributors.
