Christmas Festival Of Lights On MD 22 Sets Opening Date For 2020
The annual display at St. Matthew Lutheran Church will include more than 100,000 lights, organizers say.

BEL AIR, MD — St. Matthew will celebrate its 8th annual Christmas Festival of Lights this season. More than 100,000 lights will be arranged around the campus on Churchville Road/MD Route 22, synchronized to music, starting the day after Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve.
People can experience the display from the comfort of their vehicles by tuning in to the radio.
From 6 to 9 pm. Friday through Sunday, visitors can also check out the indoor train garden, where there will be hot cocoa and cookies. Guests must wear face coverings inside the church buildings to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

St. Matthew's Christmas Festival of Lights is a free event. People may donate nonperishable food items for the church's food pantry.
The display will run nightly from Friday, Nov. 27, through Thursday, Dec. 31, weather permitting.

Christmas Festival of Lights is 6–10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 6–11 p.m. Friday and Saturday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 1200 Churchville Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014.
