Closure Notice from Harford County Public Schools

Schools will be closed for students but not for some staff for the rest of the week, Harford County Public Schools officials say.

Harford County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 28, and Friday, Jan. 29, school officials announced Wednesday morning.

This means students will have been off the entire week after a winter storm dropped a record amount of snow in Harford County.

The school system is on “code blue,” meaning schools are closed for students but school offices and central offices will open on time. All evening activities are canceled.
