CMW Bathroom Arson: Suspect Photos Released

Investigators are asking for help identifying the suspects after two restrooms were set on fire recently at C. Milton Wright High School.

BEL AIR, MD — More than a week after two restrooms at C. Milton Wright High School were set on fire, deputy state fire marshals are asking the public for information. Officials released photos of the two suspects on Wednesday, April 3.

A custodian discovered the fires when he reported to work in the 1300 block of North Fountain Green Road on Tuesday, March 26.

The fires were intentionally set in a 30-by-40-foot concrete block structure, officials said.

The school resource officer called in the fire marshal at 8:02 a.m. that day.

There was $1,000 worth of damage, according to the fire marshal, who ruled the cause arson.

More than a week later, investigators are still working on identifying those responsible.

"Deputy State Fire Marshals are requesting the public's assistance in identifying these suspects after two restrooms were intentionally set on fire in a concrete block structure located at C. Milton Wright High School in Bel Air," the Office of the State Fire Marshal said in a statement on Wednesday, April 3.
