Local Coldwell Banker Office Presents Donation to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

BEL AIR, MD (May 31, 2017) - Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage CARES, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, presented a $1,000 donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a non-profit organization that works to help support efforts to find a cure to leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, as well as improve patients’ quality of life. Marianne Ferguson, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Harford County Regional Branch Vice President and George Hall, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Sales Associate, presented the check to Jillian Joseph and Kristin Zimmerman of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The 2017 first quarter gift was one of seven donations totaling $14,000 made to community organizations by the CARES Foundation, which is almost entirely funded by donations from agent commissions and does not pay any salaries or overhead.

“We are so thankful for the efforts that Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has made,” said Joseph. “Each year, our organization helps researchers, patients and patient families find a solution to these challenging diseases.” The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society works to achieve its mission by focusing on three key areas: research, patient access and policy and advocacy.

According to agent George Hall, who sponsored the donation, “We are very proud to contribute to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society because we appreciate and respect what they do in our communities and support their mission.”
