Crash Caused Blaze Near Jarrettsville: Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company
Crews called to a field fire found a crash had started it, and at least one person was injured, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company reported.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — First responders were dispatched to an incident that involved a field fire and a crash with injuries Saturday afternoon near Jarrettsville, officials reported.
At 3:45 p.m., first responders were called to a field fire; and on the way, they learned that the small blaze had been caused by a vehicle that crashed, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.
The collision occurred on MD 23 at High Point Road, Gardiner said.

The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, according to Gardiner, and the small field fire was controlled quickly.
