Deer Creek Bridge To Close At Darlington Road Temporarily
A cleanup is required in the area of the Deer Creek bridge, officials advised.

DARLINGTON, MD — The Deer Creek bridge at Darlington Road/MD 161 will be closed for several hours each day through Friday, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration. Nobody will be able to get across the bridge, including school buses and emergency equipment, authorities advised.
Route 161 will be closed at Deer Creek from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12; Thursday, Sept. 13; and Friday, Sept. 14, according to officials.
Closing the bridge over Deer Creek is necessary to position specialized equipment so crews can remove tree debris underneath the structure, officials reported.
