Defendant in Bel Air Garage Rape Denies Charges

Suspect is accused, along with his brother, of raping the woman last October. He claims he had consensual sex with the victim.

One of the suspects accused of raping a woman in a Bel Air parking garage last fall denied the charges during his trial Tuesday, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Ryan Corn and his brother are accused of raping the woman in October 2014. Corn’s brother will be tried separately in October. Both are charged with first-degree rape.

In testimony Tuesday, Corn claimed the sex was consensual, according to the Sun.

At approximately 2 a.m. Oct. 11, Bel Air police responded to the parking garage at 16 South Hickory Avenue, where a 29-year-old woman said that two men she didn’t know forcibly raped her, according Bel Air Police at the time.

After issuing a lookout for the two men, police said they found two suspects matching the description within five minutes. The suspects, David Eric Corn Jr., 25, and Ryan Thomas Corn, 21, had been walking on Hickory Avenue. They were arrested without incident, police said.
