Deadly Harford County Crash Led To 4-Mile Delay On I-95: MDTA
One person died in a crash on Interstate 95 Monday night near Joppa where two vehicles overturned, according to officials.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Officials said a deadly crash caused major delays on Interstate 95 Monday night in Harford County. The backup stretched for miles after two vehicles overturned near Joppa, leaving one person deceased, officials said.
Lane closures began after 5 p.m., and authorities said the delays remained when the crash cleared after 10 p.m. on Monday.
According to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, one person was deceased at the scene of the collision, on I-95 south past the exit for MD 152.

Brian Conners, 42, died after he hit the back of a Jeep, causing his Toyota and the Jeep to overturn, WJZ reported.
Crews had to rescue at least one person who was trapped inside.

The two right lanes and shoulder were closed after 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, authorities said.

By 6:30 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported there was a 4-mile delay because of the lane closures as Maryland State Police investigated the fatal crash.
At 10:15 p.m., officials said there was a 1.5-mile delay as the crash cleared and highway reopened.
