Deputy Injured In Traffic Stop, Driver Arrested: Harford Sheriff
Officials said that a traffic stop ended with an injured deputy and a foot pursuit in Edgewood on Wednesday in Harford County.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD —A deputy was injured and a suspect was arrested after a traffic stop in Harford County, officials said. The incident began Wednesday morning on Interstate 95, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities said that the deputy had approached the vehicle when the suspect began driving away, briefly dragging the officer.
The deputy, who was a member of the crime suppression unit, sustained minor injuries, officials said.

UPDATE: Harford Man Charged In Deputy Assault
The suspect was arrested near Hanson Road and Harford Square Drive after a brief car chase that ended when the individual got out and tried to run, the sheriff's office reported.
