Deputy On Patrol Hit By Vehicle, Taken To Hospital: Harford County Sheriff's Office
A Harford County Sheriff's Deputy was on patrol when another vehicle crashed into his. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A Harford County Sheriff's deputy was involved in a crash with another vehicle Monday at around 5:30 p.m., according to the sheriff's office.
The deputy, who is assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff's Office, was on routine patrol eastbound on Route 7. He was hit by another vehicle at the intersection of Route 7 and Joppa Road, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.
The deputy, whose name was not released, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment and was released that same night.
