DWI Checkpoint Planned for December in Harford County: Sheriff

BEL AIR, MD — Plan ahead to get a designated driver for those holiday parties, Bel Air.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office announced it will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, Dec. 10. The checkpoint will run overnight from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Officials did not disclose the location of the checkpoint.

In Maryland, the legal blood alcohol level for alcohol consumption is .08 percent.

The December checkpoint will be the second in Harford County in two and a half weeks. Maryland State Police conducted a checkpoint during the Thanksgiving holiday just outside Bel Air, which officials said yielded eight DUI arrests.
