Edgewood Lions Cut Ribbon On New Playground
HPS Management and the Edgewood Lions Club had a ribbon cutting ceremony for Lions Club Memorial Playground at the Woodbridge HOA.
EDGEWOOD, MD — Harford Property Services (HPS Management) and the Edgewood Lions Club conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, May 16th officially opening the Edgewood Lions Club Memorial Playground at the Woodbridge Center Homeowners Association (WCHOA). The playground was named in honor of all Edgewood Lions as their centennial project.
The existing playground on the corner of Clover Valley Way and Woodbridge Center Way was recently demolished by the Association because it had become unsafe for children to play. The community association of 1,074 homes did not have the funds to purchase a new playground system until the Edgewood Lions donated $17,000.
This donation allowed HPS Management, the managing company for the community association, to purchase a new playground system, repair the swing set, paint the monkey bars, and repair wood trim. The new play system was assembled and installed by Krause Companies who donated labor resources to help complete the project.
