The driver of the tractor-trailer has not yet been identified publicly by police. He worked for Carroll Fuel, which offered condolences to his family and issued a statement that this was the first employee to die from an on-the-job-related accident since the fuel company's founding in 1907.
In the aftermath of the crash, police said many vehicles remain unclaimed. Owners should contact 410-537-1208. They will be asked what vehicle they were driving, if there were passengers in the vehicle and how they can be contacted. Officials are continuing to interview witnesses.
