Edgewood Man Charged in Perry Hall Shooting
Police said the Harford man suspected in Perry Hall shooting knew his victim.

A Harford County man has been charged with attempted murder in a May shooting in Perry Hall, and police say the suspect and victim were acquaintances.
Gregory Nealy, 27, of the 1500 block of Charlestown Court in Edgewood, is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and using a firearm to commit a felony, according to officials.
Police allege that at 11:16 p.m. on May 29, Nealy approached the 32-year-old victim, who was sitting in a vehicle in the 5000 block of Forge Road in Perry Hall, and shot him several times.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, with gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body, police said. The suspect left the scene of the shooting.
Police told Patch Monday that the condition of the victim was unknown, and there was no motive for the shooting.

Court records show Nealy was booked on June 7. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail, according to police.
Nealy has a preliminary hearing in Baltimore County District Court on July 1.
