Electrical Apprenticeship Program Extends Application Deadline
The deadline to apply for the Harford County Electrical Apprenticeship Program for fall 2020 has been extended to June 30.
The deadline to apply for the Harford County Electrical Apprenticeship Program for fall 2020 has been extended to June 30. Applications are available online at www.Harford.edu/electric. Contact JeanMarie Lewis at jmlewis@harford.edu with any questions.
Students who successfully complete this four-year program earn a journeyperson certificate from the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. Requirements include: Must be 18 years of age or older, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have transportation. The total approximate cost per year is $1,600. Classroom-related instruction is at least 144 hours per year; on-the-job training is 2,000 hours per year. Classes begin in September and are held twice a week in the evening.
