Equestrian Airlifted After Fall From Horse: BAVFC

First responders took a woman from Sandy Hook Road after she fell from a horse, the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company reported.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A woman fell from a horse and was taken by medevac Monday afternoon to a regional trauma center, officials said.

At 2 p.m., the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company used a gator to remove her from the area where she fell, in the 3000 block of Sandy Hook Road, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

A Darlington Volunteer Fire Company ambulance took her to the helicopter, which took her to a regional trauma center. She had suffered traumatic injuries, Gardiner said.
