Festival of Lights on Churchville Road Returns
There are 60,000 lights in the display this holiday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
BEL AIR, MD - The Christmas lights at St. Matthew Lutheran Church are back, with 20,000 more bulbs than last year.
A whopping 65,000 lights have been festooned to create a display along Route 22 guaranteed to awaken the holiday spirit.

The show is 20 minutes long, set to songs like “Joy to the World,” ”Wonderful Christmas Time,” “Peanuts Medley” and others. It runs until Dec. 31. On weekends, guests are invited in to the narthex for hot chocolate and cookies; check the church’s Facebook page for details.
This marks the third year that St. Matthew Lutheran Church has put together its festival of lights.

The light show at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 1200 Churchville Road, Bel Air, runs 6-10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday; and 6-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, until Dec. 31. Guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable donations.
