Fire Displaces Family Of 6 In Pylesville: Investigators
The fire that caused $100,000 in north Harford County Sunday afternoon was electrical, according to the fire marshal.
PYLESVILLE, MD — A dog perished and six people were displaced after a fire Sunday afternoon in Pylesville, according to authorities. The mobile home blaze was ruled accidental, the Office of the State Fire Marshal reported.
A neighbor notified authorities that the structure in the 4700 block of Fawn Grove Road was ablaze at 3:26 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.
There was $25,000 in structural damage, while $75,000 worth of items inside were also lost, according to investigators.

The Norrisville Volunteer Fire Company led the response, which drew 30 firefighters and took 20 minutes to control, the fire marshal reported.
Investigators determined the blaze originated in the back bedroom and began due to an electrical failure.

The owners of the home and their four children who were displaced were being assisted by friends, family and Harford County Disaster Assistance, officials said.
