Fire Erupts in Constant Friendship Walmart: Officials
Crews from Abingdon, Joppa responded to blaze inside the superstore.

As many were watching the results come in from Tuesday’s election, firefighters converged at Constant Friendship, where a fire broke out inside Walmart, officials said.
At approximately 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported that it was assisting the Abingdon Fire Company in extinguishing a fire at Walmart.

The blaze was in the lawn and garden section, according to Joppa-Magnolia.
The fire marshal said the cause was electrical in nature, and the fire caused $10,000 in damage.
